Dave Strachan Cup Round Two
Premier Division leaders Braintree & Bocking crushed Division Four side Burnham Ramblers 10-0, seven up at half time, the winners goals came from Dave Morgan (5), brother Peter (2), George Harle direct from a corner, a own goal and sub Dave Martin. Another division four side White Hart did much better against Premier Division opposition winning 3-1 at Ravens. Two goals were shared at half time. Aaron Gothard for Ravens, the winners goals from Gareth Suckling, Mason Wren and Chris Didley. Springfield Rouge were another Premier Division side to go out, losing 3-0 at home to Ferrers Athletic. Russell Dowse, Ally Hutchison and Julian Dorado for the visitors Silver End beat Shelley Royals 3-1 agter being 1-0 ahead at half time. Blackery, Harrison and Tom Nial their scorers. Focus Ferrers won at home 5-1 against Boreham. Pugh (2), Groves, Radley and Warren for Focus. Ince replying for Boreham
Premier Division
Southminster were 3 in front 3 time at home to Harold Wood Athletic but ended up sharing 6 goals. Dave Browne opened the scoring with a headed goal but the visitors equalised before the break. Lewis Diaz scored for Southminster's second soon after the restart but Harold Wood quickly hit back. George Hull's fine strike looked to have won it but again the visitors came back to level.
Division One
Three second half goals gave Scotia Billericay Reserves victory at Old Chelmsfordians. Jack Burns and Dan Smith with spot kicks and Matt Slaney with a tap in on 80 minutes.
Division Two
Swan Mead were 1 up at Harold Wood Reserves at half time and went on to a 4-2 win. A own goal and a Mark Hammond 40 yard strike replying for the home side. Battlesbridge and Brendans shared 2 goals. Westbrook with the Battlesbridge goal.
Division Three
Despite a fine display by their goalkeeper, Epping went down at home to Alex Crow's second half goal for Braintree & Bocking Reserves, Scotia Billericay 'A' scored 3 first half goals for victory over visitors Latchingdon. Peter Warner, Andy Stacey and Danny Pottle netting.
Division Four
Springfield were 3-1 home winners over Focus Ferrers Reserves after leading 2-0 at half time. A own goal, Hudgell and Evans for Springfield.
Division Five
Twelve goals at Marks Farm where visitors Dunmow score 4 but ended up going down 8-4. Six goals were shared at the interval. Paul Wicks (5), Keith Cassidy (2) and Jordan Phillips for Marks Farm. Ben Rowland (3) and Andrew Harvey replying for Dunmow. Shelley Royals Reserves and visitors E2V Tech Reserves shared 2 goals. Glen Owers put the home side in front before the interval. Division One side St. Clere's overwhelmed their division five opponents winning by 15-0. Haydon (4), Aitchison (4) with Yeomans and Goff 2 each doing the main damage. Premier Division
Leaders Braintree & Bocking were 2-0 ahead at half time with goals from Arkley and George Harle, visitors Little Waltham scored 3 minutes from time through Nick Cownden but could not force the equaliser. Scotia Billericay, in second spot ran out 2-1 winners at Southminster. Nick Joyce took advantage of 2 bad defensive errors to score in each half. David Hallett had equalised in the first half foe Southminster. Silver End in third spot saw of visitors Byfleet Rangers winning 4-2. The home side were 2-0 up at the break, their goals from Ansell and Blackery with 2 each. Focus Ferrers gave visitors Springfield Rouge a heavy defeat sending them away with a 7-1 loss. Scotia Billericay Res remain in top spot following a 5-1 home win over Mundon Vics. John Hegarty, Sam Babbage and Jack Burus put them 3-0 up at half time. Hegarty and Chris O'Kane with second half goals. Forest Glade stay second with a 4-2 win at Frenford Senior 'A'. Tom Rudkin scoring twice. Dan Foster and Wendell Foster for Frenford. Great Baddow won 4-1 at home to Old Chelmsfordians after leading 2-0 at half time,. Luke Perry, SAm Fairhall and 2 from Colino. Donavan Kane replied for the visitors.
Division Two
Swan Mead moved into second spot with a 2-0 home win over Sungate. Dan Bedford and Lorri Turner with second half goals. Boreham remain unbeaten at home winning 3-0 against St. Margarets. Adam Dale with 2 of Borehams goals. Battlesbridge won 2-0 on a visit to City Colts. J Brown in the first half, Ian Thor-Straton after the break. Ben Housego, John Elms and Tom Montgomery saw Shenfield Hollands to a 3-2 win over visitors Stock. Tom Heap from the spot and Dave Cole had put the visitors level in the second period.

A goal in each half gave leaders E2V Tech a 2-0 home win over Scotia Billericay 'A'. Dave Wharran and a Pat Casey penalty their scorers. Broomfield ended visitors Braintree & Bocking Reserves mini revival with a 2-0 win. Nick Horsnell and Ken Woodhatch for the winners. Little Waltham Reserves in second spot won 4-0 at home to Latchingdon. Dan Branch and Graham Howson in the first period. Branch and Jake Fitheridge netting in the second half. Four second half goals gave Sporting Brentwood a 4-0 win at home to Frenford Senior 'B'. Raven, Hammond, Harvey and Baines for Sporting. Chris Hayworth (2), Rob Harvey, Steve Jarrett and Geoff Cook gave Benfleet Rangers a 5-0 home win over Wickham Royals who were a goal down at the break.

Focus Ferrers Reserves gave visitors Beacon Hill Rovers Reserves their first defeat with a 3-1 win. Jamie Pothecary (2) and John Staff for Focus. Ian King with a late consolation for Rovers. Burnham Ramblers crushed local rivals Tillingham 10-0 with Chris Scott (3 and Toby Driscoll (2) among the goals. Felsted Rovers sent Mundon Vics Reserves home with a 8-1 defeat Tom Windsor and Will Polhill with 2 apiece for Felsted, Battlesbridge Reserves just edged out visitors Springfield 2-1 after sharing 2 goals at half time. Will Roberts and J. Knight for Battlesbridge. Two goals from Glen Andrews and a own goal gave Great Baddow Reserves a 3-1 win at Marconi whose reply came from Paul Brewer.

Leaders Beacon Hill Rovers 'A' were held to a 3 all draw by lowly U.C.C. Reserves. Four goals were shared in the first half. Harding, Gleed and Will Carter for Rovers, Rolfe, a own goal and Stanford for the visitors. Boreham Reserves in second spot went down 4-1 at Silver End Reserves. Willis, Ke3able, Rushkin and Chris White for the winners. Terry Lee for Boreham who trailed 1-0 at half time. Unbeaten Braintree & Bocking had a easy 4-0 win over visitors Silver End. Dave Morgan gave them a half time lead, and goals from Fred Harle, Morgan and Sub Arkley sealed the victory. Scotia Billericay won 4-0 at Beacon Hill Rovers, Gary and John Burdett and James Smith put them 3 ahead at the interval with Nicky Arnold netting a fourth before the home sides goalkeeper was sent off. Alfie Ndlovu scored twice with Campbell added a third in a 3-1 home win for Manford Way over Focus Ferrers. Southminster and Little Waltham shared 2 goals, Sammy Mitchell gave Southminster a first half lead but Gavin Rayners deflected effort saw Waltham go away with a point.
Division One
Second Half goals from Matt Cole and Sam Fairhall gave Great Baddow victory over Scotia Billericay Reserves. Chris Deller (2) and John O'Neil gave Foresy Glade a 3-0 win at home to Sparta Basildon who were 2 down at the break. Rhodesia and Bradwell shared a 10 goal thriller, two each at the break, the Rhodesia goals from Banks (2), Martin, Pendle and a own goal.
Division Two
Ben Housego' hat trick for Shenfield Hollands sent Battlesbridge home with a defeat. Writtle Manor beat visitors Boreham 4-1, Eaton, Sprawling, Williamson in the first half for Manor. Goalkeeper Terry Hutton added a fourth with the visitors goal coming from Wayne Spreadbury. Division Three

Beacon Hill rovers Reserves stay unbeaten winning 3-0 at Burnham ramblers. Lewis in the first period and Legg with 2 after the break. Burning are also unbeaten with Ben Macro scoring 3 in a 5-2 win over visitors Runwell Hospital. Tillingham reserves had their first win, coming away from Great Baddow Reserves with a 2-1 score line. Boreham Reserves and E2v Tech Reserves could not find the net in the first half but goals from Darren Jarvis and Terry Lee saw Boreham to a 2-1 win. Wickham Royals Reserves were seconds away from a 3-2 victory at Beacon Hill Rovers 'A' but Nicholson gave Rovers a point. Harding and Shelley had put Rovers 2-0 ahead at half-time. Scotia Billericay were too strong for visitors Ravens, winning 8-1. Tony Ellis and Nicky Arnold gave Scotia a 2-1 interval lead. Second half goals came from Arnold, Jim Robinson (2), Dan Howell (2) and James Smith. Mick Surridge scored a second half goal to give Beacon Hill Rovers victory over visitors U.C.C. Braintree & Bocking went a goal down after 25 seconds when Tom Rolls netted a stunning goal for Harold Wood. Peter Morgan equalised on 20 minutes and James Gill direct from a corner gave the visitors a 2-1 interval lead. St. Claire hit 3 for Manford Way Reserves in their 5-1 win over Scotia Billericay Reserves, whose goal came from Nick Hughes. Lewis Diss and Siacha Barry scored for Tillingham but visitors Frenford Senior 'A' doubled their efforts to go home 4-2 winners.

Manford Way won 5-2 at home to Sporting Brentwood, Alfie Ndlovu (3), John Read and Alex Patterson their scorers. Swan Mead also progressed winning 4-2 against visitors Bradwell. Craig Evans, Chris Clarke-Irons, Steve Brown and Gary Merchant for the home side.
Premier Division
U.C.C. had a fine result at Scotia Billericay winning 3-2. The scores were level at one each at the break. John Delacy (2) and Tristan Smith for the visitors who took advantage of Scotia going down to 9 players in the second half. Dillon Murphy (2) and Craig Toman saw Silver End to a 3-0 home win over Little Waltham. Byfleet Rangers, thanks to a own goal went in 1-0 up at home to Braintree & Bocking but sub Alan Arkley headed the equaliser. immediately after the restart and a James Lock spot kick sealed a 2-1 win. Southminster went 2 up after 15 minutes at Beacon Hill but Mick Surridge equalised on the stroke of half time and then scored 2 second half goals to givw Rovers victory.
Division One
Dave Martin and Ross Farrington gave Rhodesia a narrow 2-1 home win over Great Baddow who were 1-0 down at half time. Scotia Billericay Reserves had a good win at Shelley Royals. Humphries and Lynch put then 2 up at the interval. Hughes for Scotia and Caldon for Shelley saw Scotia go home 3-1 winners. Tillingham lost at home to Sparta Basildon 2-1, Jamie Howell with the Tillingham goal.
Division Two
Boreham found themselves 2-0 down to goals from Mark Hare and Peter Ward at Battlesbridge but a second half rally gave them a 3-2 win. Mark Goodchild and 2 from Darren Ince for Boreham. Ray Coe's second half goal gave Stock victory at Harold Wood Reserves. City Colts and Brendans shared the points and the goals, both goals in the second period, John Heanly for City, Nathan Brewer replying. Michael Kane scored in the second half to see Sungate share 2 goals with visitors Hutton.
Division Three
Latchingdon beat visitors Scotia Billericay 'A' 3-1 after leading 1-0 at the break. Wayne Blaney (2) and Craig Rodda for the winners, Richard Wild replying. Little Waltham Reserves won at home to Old Chelmsfordians Reserves who trailed 1-0 at the interval. Dan Branch (2) and Chris Flindell for Waltham. David Suki scored twice to give Frenford Senior 'B' their first point of the season in a 2 all draw with visitors Epping. E2V Tech went down to a 5-2 home defeat by Byfleet Rangers Reserves. A own goal and Pat Casey for the losers. Scott Key (3), Rob Harvey and a own goal for the winners.
Division Four
Jamie George scored after 16 seconds for Crays Hill on their visit to Mundon Vics Reserves, George added a second, with Jack Brown also scoring twice to see Crays into a 4-0 interval lead. Matt White scored 2 in the second half for Vics but Crays held on for a 4-2 win. James Hawton scored 3 in the first half for Felsted Rovers to give his side a 3-2 interval lead at home to Burnham Ramblers, the visitors scored the only goal in the second half for a share of the points. White Hart Utd and visitors Tillingham Reserves were level at the interval at one each but 3 second half goals saw the home team run out 4-1 winners. Gareth Suckling, Connor Engwol (2) and Scott Thomas for White Hart, Mark Hubbard fir the visitors. James Lewis put visitors Beacon Hill Rovers Reserves 2-0 ahead at half time at Battlesbridge Reserves. Mosedale for the home side and Ian King for Rovers after the break left Rovers returning home 3-1 winners.
Division Five
Dunmow made the long trip to Burnham Ramblers Reserves and won 6-0, three goals in each half for Dunmow whose goals came from Savage (3), Hancock (2) and Mark Seaton. Silver End Reserves saw of St. Clere's Reserves 6-1 after being 4-1 up at half time. Charlie Dyer scored 3 for the home side. Boreham Reserves won 4-2 at U.C.C. Reserves. David Jarvis (2), Matt Coulston and Aaron Page for the visitors. Craig Stansord with the U.C.C. goals. Christos Ryan (2) and Aaron Kemp gave Beacon Hill rovers 'A' a 3-1 home win over Maldon St. Mary.

It was a good day for Division One clubs who defeated higher placed opposition. Burnham Ramblers beat division one opposition Mundon Vics 3-1, Alexander Dixon and Rushton their scorers. Another division one side Frenford Senior 'A' went out to visitors White Hart Utd, Hills and Gareth Suckling put White Hart 2-0 up at half time, despite a goal from Wendall Foster for the home side, White Hart added a third for a 3-1 win. Durning won 3-1 at Epping with goals from Ben Macro (2) and Gary Boswell. Will Fortuna replied for the third division side. Division One Forest Glade put 7 past City Colts. Craig Jones and Joe Tregunno with 3 each. Sparta Basildon also scored 7 without reply on a visit to Sungate. Jordan Hemmingway with 4 of Sparta's goals. Wickham Royals needed extra time to win 3-2 at Latchingdon. Sean Goodchild, Bobby Williams and a decisive Ben Benning spot kick saw Royals to victory. Wayne Sheppard hit 3 for Felsted Rovers in their 5-3 home win over Springfield who were 4-1 down at half time.
Premier Division
The two title favourites clashed at Braintree and visitors Scotia Billericay went away with a share of the points and goals. George Harle put the home side in front but Danny Howell bundled in a equaliser on the stroke of half time. Despite heavy second half pressure from Scotia there was no further scoring. Manford Way beat visitors Beacon Hill Rovers 2-1. Harris and a disputed spot kick from Alfie Ndlovu for the winners. Gleed scoring for the visitors. Rob Topley scored twice for Byfleet Rangers in a 4-1 home win over Southminster whose goal came from Alex Russ. Luke Beavon hit 2 of Springfield Rouge's 3 goal in the home win over U.C.C. who netted twice.
Division One
Scotia Billericay Reserves saw off rivals Manford Way Reserves 6-1. Scotia were were 2-0 ahead at half time. Nick Hughes (3), Jack Burns, Kevin O'Kane and Mark Stratton with Scotia's goals.

E2V Tech hit the woodwork 6 times but still ran out 2-1 winners over visitors Frenford Senior 'B' Pat Casey penalty and Josh Bloomfield for E2V. Michael Brewster and Adam Jackson put visitors Little Waltham Reserves 2-0 up at Scotia Billericay 'A' but Andy Stacey and Ben Tinson hit back after the break to give Scotia a point. Chris Harber (3) and Chris Mortimer gave Bradwell Reserves a 4-1 half time lead at home to Byfleet Rangers Reserves, Rob White increased the lead but the visitors then hit back with 4 goals to share the points. Newcomers Sporting Brentwood won 2-1 at home to Braintree & Bocking Reserves. Adam Southern and Joe Frost scoring. Tony Janes replying for the visitors.
Division Four
Two goals each for Canham, Pugh and Pothecary in Focus Ferrers Reserves 6-2 home win over Battlesbridge Reserves. Lawson and Whittle had made sure the visitors shared 4 goals at the break. Beacon Hill Rovers Reserves beat Mundon Vics Reserves 3-1, Barry Mays in the first half to see the scores level at the break and 2 from James Lewis, one from the spot for Rovers.
Division Five
Boreham Reserves and Beacon Hill Rovers 'A' were level at one each at the interval, Dave Jarvis for the home side but Will Carter with his second of the game gave Rovers a 2-1 win. Shelley Royals Reserves came from 2-1 down t half time against visitors Silver End Reserves to run out 5-3 winners. Dean Kerry (3), Matt Rayner and Owen Foswick for Shelley.

Premier Division
Last seasons champions Braintree & Bocking left it late at U.C.C. to clinch the points. Gary Grant put U.C.C. ahead at the interval but 3 goals in the final 10 minutes saw the visitors to victory. George Harle on 81, Glenn Bennett after 86 and Harle again in the final minute netted for Braintree. A depleted Scotia Billericay side had a fine win at Harold Wood. Nicky Joyce with the only goal of the game in the second half. Nick Cownden gave Little Waltham a half time lead at home to Beacon Hill Rovers, Dean Bowman with a second for Waltham with Dave Shelley scoring for Rovers in the second half to see Waltham run out 2-1 winners. There were 4 penalties in the match at Southminster where visitors Manford Way went down 8-0, both side missing a spot kick. Dave Hallett's free kick opened the scoring, Sammy Mitchell and Alex Russ put the home team 3 ahead at half time. Dave Browne straight from the restart added a fourth, Hallett with a penalty, Browne and Anthony Wharton penalty made it 7 and Browne completed his second half hat-trick for the eighth.
Division One
Scotia Billericay Reserves scored 3 in each half at home to Tillingham, Nick Hughes, Kevin O'Kane and Mark Stratton in the opening half, Hughes (2) and Stratton in the opening half. Hughes (2) and Stratton after the break to give Scotia a 6-0 win. Matt Curran put Bradwell into a half time lead at home to Forest Glade but the visitors hit back with 3 without reply after the interval.
Division Two
Boreham won 8-1 at home to Harold Wood Reserves. Rush (3), Dale (2), Miller, Joughin and Ince on target. City Colts scored a goal in each half for 2-0 win over visitors Sungate, Scott Hornsby and James Gosling for City. Joe Marshalls goal for St. Margarets enabled them to share the points with visitors Shenfield Hollands. New signing Sam Bryant scored for Stock but visitors Hutton went away 4-1 winners.
Division Three
A very late goal from Curtis Montague gave E2V Tech a 1-0 win on a visit to Old Chelmsfordians Reserves. Craig Mickleburgh's goal gave Latchingdon a half time lead at home to Epping and added a second after the interval, but the visitors netted twice to share the points. Wickham Royals and Little Waltham Reserves shared 2 goals at half time with neither team scoring in the second period. Carl Buckroyed with Waltham's goal. Division Four
Justin Freeman hit 4 of Mundon Vics Reserves goals in a 5-0 home win over Marconi. Vics were 3-0 up at the break. Matt White with a tap in netted the other Vics goal. Tillingham Reserves went down to a heavy loss to local rivals Burnham Ramblers, 4-2 down at half time the Tillingham goals came from Michael Turner and Chris Feuell. Chris Scott with 3 for Boreham. Visitors Springfield were in front after 15 seconds at Beacon Hill, but Toby Legg scored twice to give Rovers a half time lead. The visitors equalised but Barry Mays came up with the winner for Rovers. Jamie George (3), Bradley Croft and Jamie Huskinson saw visitors Crays Hill to a 5-2 win on a visit to Great Baddow Reserves
Division Five
Bobby Alexander and Chris Seaman scored second half goals to give Marks Farm a 2-0 win on a visit to Burnham Ramblers Reserves. Beacon Hill Rovers 'A' beat visitors Battlesbridge 'A' after being 2-1 in front at the break. Will Carter, Jan King, Elliott Stafford and a Steve Shelley penalty for the winners. Chris Macormick hit both E2V Tech Reserves goals in a 2-1 win over visitors Dunmow, all the goals coming in the second period. Terry Lee's goal gave Boreham Reserves victory on their trip to St. Clere's Reserves.

Last seasons runners up Scotia Billericay won 2-0 at home to Little Waltham. Nicky Arnold with a goal in each half. The two promoted teams met at Woodham and Focus Ferrers ran out 2-0 winners over Byfleet Rangers. First half goals from Chris Corney and Leo King. Harold Wood got of the a good start with a 4-0 home win over Silver End. Ricky Butler, Jack Williams and Paul Gilmore in the first half. Gilmore with his second after the break.

Old Chelmsfordians beat promoted Tillingham 3-1. Kyan and Dennison put the home side 2-0 up at the interval. Kane netted for O.C's after the break with Barry replying for the visitors. Scotia Billericay Reserves were 1-0 up at Sparta Basildon at the break through Sam Babbage but Jordan Hemmingway came up with a second half equaliser for Sparta. Relegated Bradwell went down at home to promoted Manford Way Reserves 5-1 after being 3-1 behind at half time. Holliday with Bardwell's goal.
Division Two
Relegated Ferrers Athletic Athletic with anew look side won 5-0 at home to Harold Wood Reserves. Dave Carter. Gary Cross (2), Lee Freeman and Danny Shanks their scorers. Hutton saw of promoted City Colts 4-1 after leading 3-0 at half time. Sam Hesketh (2), Ben Franklin and Rob Norton netting. Danny Young (2) and Ben Housego scored Shenfields Hollands 3 goals which beat visitors Boreham, their goal coming from Rob West. Newcomers to the league Swan Mead won their first game running out 4-3 winners over visitors St. Margarets. Marchant (2), Coulson and Evans for the winners. Writtle Manor won 3-0 at Battlesbridge, all the goals in the second half. Mark Root and Mark King (2) for Manor.
Division Three
Par Casey wasted no time for E2V Tech giving his side the lead after 20 seconds! Steve Mayfield added a second to leave visitors Braintree & Bocking Reserves 2 down at the break, Casey added another after the restart to see E2V to a 3-1 win. Newcomers Scotia Billericay 'A' won 5-0 at Epping after being 2 up at the break with Richard Wilde scoring Scotia Fifth, Wayne Blaney hit 2 in Latchingdons 3-0 win over visitors Frenford Senior 'B' Little Waltham scored twice in each half to send home Byfleet Rangers Reserves with a 4-0 defeat. Dan Branch (3) and Karl Buckroyd, scoring.

Promoted Great Baddow Reserves were off to a great start winning 6-0 at Burnham Ramblers. Ed Caleno (4), Darren Eills and Chris Jackson doing the damage to the home side.. Beacon Hill Rovers Reserves won 3-2 at White Hart after being 1-0 ahead at the interval through Barry Mays. Matt Head and Chris Simpson put White Hart in front but Blagden with a fine header and Lewis gave Rovers victory. The home side failed from the spot. Tom Kiernan and Dave Storkey saw Springfield to a 2-1 home win over Tillingham. Mark Hubbard with the visitors goal. Marconi and Battlesbridge Reserves shared 2 goals. Lee Brewer for Marconi, Chaplin replying for the visitors. Rob Gregory scored 2 for Durning in their 3-1 home win over Crays Hill whose goal came from new signing Jamie George.

Maldon St Mary's got off to a winning start with a 6-2 home win over Burnham Ramblers Reserves. Pateman (2), De-Burgh (2), Hiskey and Richard Smith for Mary's. Boreham reserves were 4-1 home winners over Old Chelmsfordians 'A', David Jarvis (2), Billy Wilkin and matt Causton Borehams scorers. Stacey Robson, Martin Rankin (2) and Kevin Poulter saw Shelley Royals reserves to a comfortable 4-0 home win over Beacon Hill Rovers 'A'. Silver End Reserves shared 4 goals. Silver End were 2-1 ahead at half time. Joseph Lord and Matthew Willis scoring. Matt Wood and Chris MaCormack replied for the visitors.
